1. Flujo principal
2. Vistas de medición
- Magnitud, Fase e Impulso.
- RTA, Spectrum, RTA + Spectrum y RTA + Spectrum + Magnitud.
6. Generador
Pink Noise, White Noise, Tone y sweep logarítmico 20 Hz–20 kHz.
7. Lienzo y layouts
DEFAULT · ALIGNMENT, LIVE SHOW y NEW · BLANK. EDIT FREE CANVAS permite mover, redimensionar y cerrar ventanas.
8. RTA / Spectrum en show
1. Main workflow
PhaseTools440Pro works with one electrical REF and one or more MEAS signals. Select Audio I/O, validate signal, observe the transfer function, and make delay/EQ decisions while keeping the system reference.
2. Measurement views
- Magnitude, Phase, and Impulse.
- RTA, Spectrum, RTA + Spectrum, and RTA + Spectrum + Magnitude.
- Smoothing: 1/1, 1/3, 1/6, 1/12, 1/24, 1/48, and none.
- Magnitude vertical scale: 1, 3, or 6 dB per division.
- 0 dB sits exactly at Magnitude center with symmetric positive/negative range.
3. Coherence and cursor
Coherence appears in red and controls hiding of unreliable data. The cursor provides exact Hz/dB, Hz/degrees, or ms/amplitude values depending on view.
4. Delay Finder
Calculates the difference between electrical REF and acoustic MIC and applies compensation before Phase/Magnitude. It can be repeated before acceptance; correction can be temporary or stored per microphone. Shift+C opens Delay Finder.
5. Memories and traces
F1–F8 show/hide memories; Shift+F1–Shift+F8 store the live trace. .paez440traces exchanges eight memories, Impulse, Phase, Magnitude, and virtual-EQ filters.
6. Generator
Pink Noise, White Noise, Tone, and logarithmic 20 Hz–20 kHz sweep. Pink/white-noise loops are conditioned to remove periodic clicks or silent gaps at the seam.
7. Canvas and layouts
DEFAULT · ALIGNMENT, LIVE SHOW, and NEW · BLANK. EDIT FREE CANVAS lets you move, resize, and close windows. Blue guides and magnetic snap align edges/centers. Positions are stored proportionally for transport to another monitor.
8. RTA / Spectrum during show
Comparative RTA shows REF in green behind MEAS in blue. Spectrum scrolls microphone spectral history in real time. When no graphs are visible, analysis suspends; Spectrum is calculated only when RTA or Spectrum is visible.
9. Virtual EQ
Filters are edited in the rack. Frequency, Gain —including negative— and Q provide −/+ controls plus numeric input. Prediction updates Magnitude and Phase immediately. The metal switch shows/hides simulation without changing the physical processor.
10. Microphone correction
Polarity, HPF, LPF, and parametric filter apply immediately to the selected microphone and are stored with that microphone; there is no Apply button.
